Dear VRC members,
As you have probably noticed I have been off-line for the past 10-12 days. I was hampered by some very serious problems with my W10 workstation which caused me to do a complete rebuild of my PC. New motherboard and i9 processor and expended memory the 64GB, new power supply, new graphics Nvidia RTX 5080, new ssd hard drives (now 10TB storage) and Windows 11. The final time schedule for the upcoming 2025 VRC WORLDS events. The racing schedule and track allocations have been significantly modified after member feedback and input.
The 2025 WORLD SHOOT-OUT GT3 CLUBRACER event is now a weekly 4-round event for 3 driver levels, Rookies, Sports and Pro and will be ran during the last 4 weeks of the 2025 Worlds.

I recently re-posted the video of the very first Euro's for 1:8 in Modena Italy, back in 1974. I also posted images from that video of Ronnie Ton's independent suspension car as a tribute to his contribution to model car racing, not only for his unique and innovative independent suspension chassis, but also for his eye for detail. Model car racing was not only about speed in those days but also about appearance. Aerodynamics played hardly a role in these early years of r/c racing.

Francis Wathlet (B) was ‘king of the hill’ in deze klasse, met 2 duidelijke overwinningen op zijn Belgische compaan Nicolas Evens (organisator van de Belgium Short Course Cup). Arjan van de Graaf was met 2 tweede plaatsen nog in de race voor de 2de plaats in het eindklassement, maar in Race 3 op de Bash Pit Long Course kwam hij uiteindelijk een half rondje te kort op Nicolas Evens om uiteindelijk als 3de te eindigen.

PRO klasse
Deze klasse werd overtuigend gewonnen door Julius Kolff met 3 overwinningen uit 3. Na de eerste wedstrijd met slechts 0.5 sec te hebben gewonnen was Race 2 op Carpet-2 opnieuw een strijd tussen Kolff en Wathlet, die weer in het voordeel van Julius, maar nu met 1 sec. voorsprong werd beslist.
De 3de en laatste wedstrijd van de Cup was op het thuiscircuit van Julius, en hier was de marge opgelopen tot 8 sec. Francis Wathlet legde beslag op de 2de plaats in de Cup, Arjan van de More info
